The MANHART carbon hood with GTR air-vents for the BMW F90 M5 (Competition / CS) is made of high-quality carbon fibre composite material and therefore offers several advantages over conventional metal bonnets in terms of both material and design. The low weight of the bonnet is particularly noticeable.

The GTR air outlets, which extend over about 1/5 of the surface, ensure better air circulation in the engine compartment. At higher speeds, the suction increases which draws the hot air out of the engine compartment. With particularly powerful vehicles, which often have to fight with a high heat development, this possibility for cooling is extremely effective.

The part can be ordered in glossy lacquered or matt lacquered carbon. It is supplied with an installation manual and can be installed directly.
